are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how
we collect, store, use, and process information from and about users of Lexxify Hub. By using Lexxify
Hub, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this
Privacy Policy.
As with other social media platforms, during the course of your usage of our apps, products, or other services, our service may receive information from and about you, including information that you provide, information from other sources, and other automatically inferred information.
When you create an account, upload content, contact us directly, or otherwise use the Platform, you
may provide some or all of the following information: account and profile information, such as name,
age, username, password, language, email, phone number, social media account information, and profile
image. After registering for a Lexxify account, you may access, review, and/or edit/update certain
personal information that you have provided to Lexxify by logging into your account going to the
Settings.
If you select to sign-up or log-in to Lexxify Hub using a third-party service
such as Facebook or Google, or otherwise link your Lexxify account to a third-party service, this
process will prompt our service to access your public profile information on that platform, such as
email and friends list.
By letting Lexxify access your device services, the service
automatically collects certain information from you when you use Lexxify Hub, including internet or
other network activity information such as your IP address, geolocation-related data, unique device
identifiers, browsing and search history (including content you have viewed in Lexxify Hub), and
Cookies. Cookies help Lexxify collect information and analyze usage of our platform, and help us
enhance the user experience by giving us data on how best to efficiently format the user experience.
To disable certain Cookies, please refer to your browser settings and options. Note that having
certain Cookies disabled may affect your ability to access the full range of Lexxify Hub functionality
and services.
Our service will collect and store any user-generated content that you post or upload to Lexxify Hub, such as images, audio, videos, weblinks, hashtags, and comments. This also includes any messages you may send to other users in the chat functionality. The service will also collect and store the associated metadata, such as when, where, and by whom the content was created. If you apply an edit/filter/effect to an image or audio or other data if applicable the service may collect and store a version before the respective edits/filter/effect are applied. We may collect information about the videos, images, and audio that are a part of your user content, such as identifying the objects and scenery that appear, the existence and location within an image of physical features and attributes, the nature of the audio, and the text of the words in audio in your post. We may collect this information to enable special video effects, for content moderation, to improve user experience, to provide recommendations for other users, for demographic analysis, for effective content and ad recommendations, and for other non-personally-identifying operations.
When you upload or create content, you automatically upload certain metadata that is connected to that content. Metadata refers to other data related to the content and provides information about your content that will not always be viewable to users. The metadata can describe how, when, where, and by whom the content was created, collected, or modified, or how long the audio is or how large the data is.
In order to provide services, we also access the information, including text, images, and videos, found in your device's clipboard, when you provide it to us by copying or pasting content in Lexxify Hub. For example, if you choose to paste content from the clipboard into Lexxify Hub, we access this information stored in your clipboard so that we can carry out your action on our system.
Our service stores messages, which include information you provide when you compose, send, or receive messages through the Platform's messaging functionalities. This includes messages you send through our chat functionality. That information includes the content of the message and information about the message, such as when it was sent, received, or read, and message participants. Messages you choose to send to other users of Lexxify Hub will be accessible by those users and that we are not responsible for the manner in which those users use or share the messages.
Lexxify Hub accesses your phone and social network contacts, with your permission. If you choose to find other users through your phone contacts, we will access and collect information such as names, phone numbers, and email addresses, and match that information against existing users of the Platform. If you choose to find other users through your social network contacts, we will collect your profile information that you have made accessible as well as names and profiles of your social network contacts.
Lexxify also accesses Information to verify an account such as email address or age. Lexxify also accesses information in correspondence you send to us, including when you contact us for support, as well as any information you share through surveys or your participation in challenges, research, promotions, marketing campaigns
We collect information about how you use Lexxify Hub, including your interactions with other users, your search queries, and the content you view.
As with other social media platforms, we collect information about the devices you use to access
Lexxify Hub, including the type of device, operating system, IP address, time zone, mobile carrier,
and browser type, screen resolution, battery level, audio settings, and connected audio devices. If
you log-in to Lexxify from multiple devices, we may need to use information such as device ID and user
ID to keep track of your activity across devices.
As with other social media platforms, we collect information about your approximate location, including location information based on your SIM card and/or IP address in order to serve you better. In addition, we collect location information (such as tourist attractions, shops, or other points of interest) if you choose to provide such location information.
We may use the information/data collected to provide and improve Lexxify Hub and its features, and to
personalize your experience on Lexxify Hub, to communicate with you about the Lexxify Hub and your
account and provide customer support, and to enforce our terms of service and other policies and to
comply with legal obligations. Information/data may also be used to fulfill Lexxify services and
functionality, including support for internal operations, troubleshooting, data analysis, research,
testing, and feedback. Information may be used to infer your interests to better recommend you with
relevant suggested content based on which content you have liked or interacted with, and thereby
provide a customized platform experience. Data may be used to implement the social function of the
Lexxify Hub platform by allowing users to connect with each other, or to suggest accounts for users to
follow. We may also use data collected from users to train machine learning functionalities.
If
there is any contest or promotion running on Lexxify Hub, Lexxify Hub will need to collect your
provided information in order to send you any applicable prizes as per details of the promotion.
Lexxify
may also use your data in order to help detect abuse, fraud, and/or illegal activity on our platforms,
and to promote safety and security of the platforms and breaches of any Terms of Service and/or
Community Guidelines.
In order to become a verified translator, Lexxify will request
certain other data from you, and you may need to have an audio/video chat with a Lexxify moderator to
get approval. By becoming a verified translator, you also indicate that you will maintain privacy of
any private posts/areas you may be invited to.
We are committed to maintaining your trust; Lexxify does not sell your personal information or share your personal information with third parties for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising where legally restricted, we want you to understand when and with whom we may need to share data from users.
Lexxify shares user data with service providers and business partners during the process of performing business operations such as database management, accessing technology services such as internet services, analytics, data storage/hosting, search engine utilization optimization, communications, deliveries, and advertising/marketing services. Payment processors and transaction fulfillment providers such as Paypal or Stripe may receive the user data provided by users in the case that users purchase a product from Lexxify Hub. Advertising, marketing, and analytics vendors may receive the user data provided by users, but would not access payment data.
We may share or transfer the collected data in our database in connection with a substantial corporate transaction, such as the sale of the business, a merger, consolidation, asset sales, or in the event of bankruptcy. We may disclose any of the collected data in our database to respond to subpoenas, court orders, legal processes, law enforcement, legal, or government requests, and to protect and defend the rights, interests, and security of the Lexxify Hub platform, affiliates, users, and/or the public. We may share your information for other purposes pursuant to your consent or at your direction.
We partner with third-party services such as Facebook and Google to offer you convenient sign-up, log-in, and usage experience. If you use these features we may share information about you to those respective third-party services, and they may receive information about your activity on Lexxify Hub or notify you on that platform about your connection to Lexxify Hub. By choosing to allow a third-party service to access your Lexxify account, we share certain information about you to that third party. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of our service providers and business partners, and the information practices of these service providers and business partners are not covered by this Privacy Policy.
Lexxify Hub is a publicly-accessible platform. If you interact with or make a public post/album or
comment, or if you choose to make your Lexxify profile public, you are accepting that the data you
have disclosed may be read, saved, collected, or otherwise used by other users. We caution users to
avoid disclosing personal information that they would like to keep private on Lexxify platforms.
Lexxify users should exercise the same prudence and caution with regard to personal information while
using Lexxify services as with while using any other public website or public forum. We are not
responsible if you disclose sensitive personal information on a publicly available post setting or
other area where other users can view your information. Even if you are not a user, information about
you may appear in content created or published by other users on Lexxify Hub if they have that
data/information about you, just as it is possible that you may incidentally appear in photos taken by
others while you are in public settings, or just as it is possible for other people who know you or
know of you to write content about you on their own website or another website. Lexxify is not
responsible or able to police fair usage of this data for public domain, and any potential legal
action you may elect to take in order to notify another user to cease and desist from mentioning you
or another entity must be done according to the legal process as per in your jurisdiction and does not
affect Lexxify operations. If you purchase an item from the Lexxify Store, we keep a record of your
purchase data. You may choose to have your purchase displayed on your profile, and if your profile is
publicly viewable or viewable to your approved followers, those respective groups of people will be
able to see your purchase.
We store user data/information for as long as necessary to
provide platform services and for the other purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We also store
information when necessary to comply with contractual and legal obligations, and for the exercise of
legal claims.
The storage periods may vary depending on different criteria, such as the type of information and the purposes for which the information is used; for example your profile information is stored to provide you with platform services, and we keep this information for as long as you have an account. If you violate our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or other conditions or policies, we reserve the right to deactivate, delete, or otherwise remove your profile immediately, but may keep other information about you stored while we are deliberating your violation.
Lexxify may transmit your data to data centers outside of the territory of the United States of America for storage and/or processing. It is also possible that other third-party entities with whom Lexxify may share your data may be located outside of the United States of America.
You may have the right to access, edit, or delete the information/data that you personally post to Lexxify Hub. You have the right to temporarily deactivate or permanently delete your Lexxify account. You may be able to adjust your device browser settings to refuse or disable Cookies; this will be something that needs to be adjusted separately on every device you use to access Lexxify. If you choose to refuse, disable, or delete Cookies, certain features of Lexxify Hub may no longer function properly for you, and you may not be able to access all of the requested services. Again, this may affect your access to the full functionality of Lexxify Hub. You can opt out of marketing or advertising emails from Lexxify by using the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of marketing or advertising emails.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorized access, use, and disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we may notify you by email and/or by posting a notice on the Lexxify Hub. Your continued use of Lexxify Hub after the effective date of the updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
